Salary from ÂŁ50,606 to ÂŁ58,505 pa inclusive with potential to progress to ÂŁ65,157pa inclusive of London allowance

LSE is the world’s leading social science institution, which attracts students from across the globe. LSE Catering manages restaurants, cafes, bars and shops across campus and halls of residence providing catering, retail and hospitality services to our staff and student community.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Chef to join our fantastic team. You will play a key role as an ambassador for “Food at LSE”, leading our food and menu development as we deliver an exciting change programme across our catering outlets, hospitality service and halls.

The Executive Chef will:

  • Demonstrate a real passion and understanding of food production and delivery.
  • Have relevant qualifications and experience including achieving recognised accreditations.
  • Develop and implement creative and innovative food offerings of a high quality.
  • Be able to build, lead and manage a team who can deliver consistently high standards.
  • Demonstrate experience of continuous improvement.

All catering staff work flexibly and may be required to work in any of LSE Catering facilities. Working hours are varied and may involve early mornings, evenings and weekends.
