Assistant Cleaning Manager Role/ Area Cleaning Supervisor

Job role:
Assistant Cleaning Manager Role your role will be to ensure the smooth running of the operations service and provide support
to the rest of the team:
- Supervise a team of cleaning personnel on a daily basis at the client site ensuring that cleaning activities follow the
appropriate methodologies.
- Supporting Service Manager to check multiple sites across London
- Provide support, training and guidance to staff in respect of their duties.
- Respond to client queries and requests.
- Provide hands-on cleaning support.
- Maintain on-site supervisors manual and ensure up to date COSHH sheets held for any chemical products used on site.
- Ensure that appropriate risk assessments are held and reviewed annually or when new duties or chemicals to be used are
introduced.
- Submit daily reports to the Service Manager
- Liaise with the Manager to provide progress and feedback reports.
- Where requested, attend site meetings with the client/contract manager and complete feedback forms.
- Liaise with the 'mobile' resource team or line manager to cover any absence or emergency client requirements.
- Monitor and maintain Health and safety procedures on site and ensure clients' policies are understood and followed by
operatives.
- Ensure adherence to any site-specific rules or policies.
- Report any staff shortcomings to the Head Office or Service Manager.
- Ensure maintenance of cleaning cupboard in a safe, orderly manner and safe storage of chemical products.
Working Hours:
- From 6 pm to 12 am or From 7 pm to 1 am
- 6 hours shift / 30 hours a week
- Overtime available upon approval
- Rate: £13.50/hour
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a Cleaning Supervisor or Team Leader role, Client interfacing,
- Clean Driver’s License preferable but not essential
- Previous hotel experience
