Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out in-process and end-of-line inspections of products
- Create or update inspection work standards as necessary to minimize build risks
- Log build defects, determine necessary containment actions, and ensure their timely implementation
- Evaluate rejected parts and lead meetings for disposition decisions
- Actively participate in daily production meetings to address and contain build issues
- Lead and document containment activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- GCSE's/A-levels or equivalent qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing.
- Practical understanding of Lean manufacturing.
- Ability to interpret Engineering drawings and bills of materials
- Experience with Global 8D problem-solving methodology
Beneficial:
- Lean Sigma Yellow Belt qualification
- Experience with a variety of hand tools
- Stacker and/or fork-lift licence
