The role: 

As a Wholesale Key Account Manager, you will develop strong relationships with internal and external customers, managing operational ties with key contacts. You'll execute annual plans and budgets, overseeing Cost Per Thousand and Profit & Loss responsibilities. Achieving volume, distribution, and EBITDA targets for key brands is vital, alongside controlling investments in line with budgets. Your role includes effective selling and negotiation to secure profitable agreements while retaining and growing AB InBev's market share.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong, effective relationships with customer (internal & external) contacts at all levels of management.

  • Responsible for managing the operational relationship with key customer contacts. Developing and implementing plans at both head office & regional levels in line with customer/sector strategy.

  • Execute the 1YP, budget, and gap close cycles in the calendar year, defining and implementing a compelling strategy with the support of the Commercial controller.

  • Full CPT and P&L responsibility, accountable for accurate tracking, forecasting, mix-management, and managing of investments. 

  • Achieve designated volume, distribution, and EBITDA targets for key brands in the business by implementing and defining strong strategies that work for both parties.

  • Control & monitor investment in line with brand activity & capex budgets. 

  • Sell effectively, and then negotiate effectively to achieve the most profitable and secure agreement for BBG whilst delivering solutions for customers.

  • To retain & grow, AB InBev share & value within the customer and the market.

  • Effectively lead a virtual team, working with different stakeholders to deliver for your ledger, including trade marketing, category management, tech sales, and brands dispense.

  • Work closely with the wider field sales teams to support the customer/business strategy, retaining and growing volume and BBG share in the on-trade.

Who we're looking for: 

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in profit and loss management (P&L)

  • Proficiency in negotiating favorable terms and agreements, adept at identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to bridge gaps and create mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Mastery in the art of sales, with a proven ability to understand customer needs, articulate value propositions, and close deals effectively.

  • Strong presentation skills, capable of delivering compelling and persuasive presentations to diverse audiences, including clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

  • Experience in developing and executing comprehensive commercial strategies that drive business growth and foster sustainable competitive advantage.

  • Skilled in project management methodologies, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, set clear objectives, and deliver results within scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Adept at building and nurturing relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration to achieve common goals.

  • Proficiency in managing internal processes related to customer account creation, ensuring seamless onboarding and a positive experience for clients.

  • Strong leadership abilities in a virtual environment, capable of inspiring and motivating remote teams to excel and achieve collective objectives.
