If so, my client is on the search for their newest Field Service Engineer to join their Service team where you will cover Kent and surrounding areas. They offer a fantastic benefits package which includes a salary circa up to £37k with OTE £45k+, a Company van with personal use allowed, PDA & Mobile Phone, Overtime available, Full Door to Door payment, Company Pension Scheme, 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays, Full training and development program.

Responsibilities of a Field Service Engineer:

  • Complete all service, repair, warranty, and inspection jobs allocated daily, maintaining a high-quality standard.
  • Foster strong rapport and relationships with customers, demonstrating professional behaviour and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Respond to routine inquiries from customers about the technical aspects of the organisation's products and services.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve standard technical problems to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Develop skills and knowledge of the organisation's products and services by attending regular training courses.
  • Comply with all legal and company standards, including the code of conduct and health & safety practices.

Key Skills for the Field Service Engineer

  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualifications.
  • Experienced multi-skilled engineering experience with FLT, heavy plant or agricultural equipment and working with Hydraulic Systems.
  • Ability to read and follow electrical wiring diagrams.
  • Proficiency in fault finding and computer-based diagnostics, as well as electrical fault finding.
