At Barnett Waddingham, we are currently recruiting a great opportunity for a Receptionist to join a growing team within our Workplace Services Hub area. This is a permanent role based in our Guildford office, with fortnightly travel required to other BW offices. 

The position of Receptionist will provide visitor hosting experiences, meeting management, reception duties and administration support for the office. The successful Receptionist will have exciting opportunities to work on multiple projects across the business, as well as get involved in planning CSI away days.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and hosting clients, suppliers and employees from other offices. 
  • Booking, setting up and management of meeting rooms. 
  • Organising catering and refreshments for internal and external meetings and events. 
  • Liaison as needed with other internal teams to ensure all client and visitor needs are met.
  • Audit of catering firms regularly and establish new caterers if required. 
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure the smooth running of all Front of House services. 
  • Organising courier and taxi bookings. 
  • Monitoring and ordering of office groceries and supplies. 
  • Processing post, scanning of documents and distribution to relevant people or teams.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Have 5 GCSE’s, at Grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths and English. 
  • Previous reception, office administration or customer service experience. 
  • Excellent communication skills and able to demonstrate working relationships within a team.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
