Alnwick Castle Golf Club is seeking a skilled and experienced chef to lead our dynamic team. Situated amidst the stunning backdrop of Northumberland, our club is known for its picturesque setting, great food and exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bustling kitchen, including catering for our members, daily service and functions.
- Creating menus that reflect seasonal produce.
- Ensuring compliance with EHO regulations and due diligence.
- Stock level management, ordering and waste control.
- Committed to delivering high standards.
- Monitor food costs to ensure profitability of the kitchen.
- Organisation, flexibility, and a positive outlook to inspire your kitchen team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a chef, preferably in a similar establishment.
- Valid driving license and own transport.
- A passion for delivering high quality hospitality and maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene.
- Proven knowledge of allergen management.
- Ability to work well within a team, as well as independently when necessary.

Salary: £25,000
Contract type: Full-time, permanent (5 out of 7 days).
