This particular school in the Oxford area, graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED, are looking to recruit an English teacher from September 2024 on a permanent basis. This English teaching role will primarily be teaching 11-18 year olds with a personalised curriculum to suit the needs of 16 learners with SEN – Autism/SEMH/SLCN. The incumbent English teacher will be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You’ll be there to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem. You will need to be resilient and dedicated to your profession to truly make a difference here.

As an English teacher for SEN pupils, you will be working within a tranquil setting that offers young people an environment to live, learn and grow. This beautiful site brings together education, care and therapeutic support for a small cohort of young people, providing the perfect backdrop to release their full potential.
