About Our Client:

Role Overview:

As the Data Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining our client's school data systems and processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of all data, as well as utilizing data analysis to inform decision-making and improve overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust data management procedures and protocols.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including attendance, grades, and personal information.
• Collaborate with staff members to identify data needs and provide support in generating reports and analysis.
• Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations and best practices regarding data protection and privacy.
• Lead training sessions for staff members on data management systems and processes.
• Work closely with IT staff to ensure the smooth operation of data systems and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
• Excellent understanding of data management principles and practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
• Proficiency in using data management software and tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications in data management or a related field are desirable.
