This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Production Planner to work for a well known business in the food manufacturing industry, based on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.

Client Details

The business is has multiple sites across the UK and Ireland as well as a Global headcount of c5000. The Anglesey site is one of 3 manufacturing facilities and has been a flagship site for the organisation. The company prides itself on its high-quality products and commitment to its staff.

Description

As the Production Planner you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, managing and coordinating the production plan for your sites that operate on a 24/7 basis.
  • Collaborating with the procurement and supply chain teams to streamline operations and ensure availability of raw materials/stock.
  • Developing and maintaining production schedules to meet customer demands.
  • Monitoring and reporting on production performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure alignment of production plans.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the company.

Profile

The successful Production Planner should have:

  • Experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
  • Excellent skills in production planning and scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain operations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using planning software and tools.
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
