Our long standing and well established client based in Andover, Hampshire is looking for a Management Accountant to join their friendly and vibrant team. Reporting in to the Finance Manager you will pay a key part and be responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts together with annual financial accounts and budgets.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?
- Raise and post journals as required including accruals and prepayments
- To be responsible for the analysis of P&L accounts
- To be responsible for the analysis of balance sheet accounts on a quarterly basis
- VAT
- Production of the annual budget
- To produce in a timely manner accurate year end accounts
- To assist with the timely production of the year end Statutory Financial Statements
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
- Studying towards an accounting qualification such as CIMA or ACCA
- Hands on experience in delivering high quality reporting
- Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritise and plan effectively
- You will be comfortable to liaise with both external and internal parties
