Sales Logistics Coordinator, Andover: As Sales Logistics Coordinator you will support the Sales team who are based across the UK. You will do administration and reports, you will attend production/manufacturing meetings and relay information that their customers need to know.

They are growing rapidly due to the specialist equipment that they manufacture and are looking for a new Sales Administrator / Sales & Logistics Administrator to help the growing Sales and Account Management team.

Description

Sales Logistics Coordinator, Andover:

Support the sales team to deliver pipeline sales through efficient order processing, contract management and project tracking. Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of sales orders.

  • Provide sales support for customer orders; Order entry to system
  • Ensure all incoming customer/sales requests are reviewed, resolved or responded to.
  • Lead and manage the contract review process - This needs good attention to detail, reading their terms
  • Review all terms & conditions documents, identify issues to be resolved and work with the Commercial Director to negotiate changes
  • Create Projects, track progress and maintain the Project Management system
  • Liaise with planning, procurement, production, technical & finance to ensure targets are met.
  • Prepare simple quotations for customers
  • Primary customer contact on order status updates, stock queries & issues for all customers
  • Process all customer orders, acknowledge receipt with customer, and process ready for dispatch
  • Review tender websites for potential sales opportunities
  • Maintain and action open order book requests/responses
  • Assist in the process to obtain feedback on a regular basis
  • Maintain the customer relationship management system

Profile

Sales Logistics Coordinator, Andover: The client is very open to someone early in their career looking to do the administration role before potentially moving into a full Sales job. Or equally keen on someone with many years experience and potentially returning to the work place after a break.

You will be someone who is:

  • Keen to ask questions and learn
  • Keen to solve problems and proactively work in a team and alone
  • You need to be someone with ability to work with a remote sales team and also an on-site manufacturing team and on-site engineers. You will sit in the middle, ensuring field sales team have all the right information.
  • Good systems skills - good excel and strong CRM experience
  • You need to be 100% happy working within the Defence Sector

You will need to pass defence sector security clearing. This requires British National with a clean criminal record and ability to provide details required for detailed references.

Job Offer

Salary of circa £27,000 - £30,000 plus excellent package.
