Data Analyst - Andover/Hybrid - c£40K

Are you an experienced data analyst, with expertise in Power BI? Do you have a passion for creating descriptive data visualisations and dashboards? We are partnered with an industry disrupting organisation who, due to growth are expanding their technology function.

You will be focusing on marketing for this organisation, creating dashboards and reports analysing trends, insights and competitor data in order to improve business performance.

You will need to have proven commercial experience with data visualisation tools, preferably Power BI, but others also acceptable. As well as proficiency with SQL.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and maintain descriptive Power BI dashboards and visualisations.
• Analyse customer, market, and competitor data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
• Develop Power BI reports for the Marketing team highlighting business performance and the competitive landscape.
• Query complex relational databases to build reports and extract data sets for analysis.
• Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics.

KEY SKILLS

• A bachelor's in marketing, statistics, mathematics, business analytics, or a related field is highly desirable. However, we also welcome applicants without a degree with proven work experience.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Proficiency in querying relational database management systems utilising SQL.
• Proven working experience as a data analyst.
