Our client, a leading manufacturer of patient care and handling equipment, is seeking an internal Business Development to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities – Business Development Executive:

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities.
  • Possess a detailed understanding of the relevant guidelines and legislation identify applicable.
  • Build projects from the Glenigan database, contact the architect (CPD, design input), the QS (layout advice, requirement for early structural consultation, offer of quote), the Client (design awareness).
  • Identify downloaders from NBS Revit files and Specifications, engage and offer design advice CPD.
  • Possess a detailed understanding of the relevant guidelines, identify and engage with Long Term Care environments, where products are required, from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) database.
  • Once initial conversations are made pass to sales team for quotation, site visits (if required).

Qualifications & Experience – Business Development Executive:

  • At least 2 years in a Business Development role, in B2B channel. (Mandatory)
  • Experience of Built Environment (Desirable)
  • Experience of working with Senior Management, Architects and QS (Desirable).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong understanding of Microsoft Office Products. (Essential)
  • Great communicator with ability to write and speak appropriately to/with a B2B audience. (Mandatory)
  • Organised and ability to update systems with tracking of opportunities. (Essential)
