Group HR Manager – Antrim - Full-Time, Permanent
I am delighted to be working with our client on the recruitment of a Permanent, Group HR Manager for their thriving multi-site NI business.Â
Reporting to the People & Culture Director, the Group HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives across multiple sites within Group. This role ensures alignment of HR practices with overall business objectives, promotes a high-performance culture, and leads key HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, learning and development, and organisational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the Group’s HR strategy in line with business objectives
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to site-level Managers
- Ensure consistency and compliance with employment law, company policies, and best HR practices across all locations
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for senior and key roles
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and retention initiatives
- Develop and implement effective training and development programs aligned with succession planning
- Manage disciplinary and grievance matters professionally and legally
- Lead performance management processes, ensuring regular reviews and development plans are in place
- Maintain and update HR systems, records, and reports to inform decision-making
- Advise the executive team on organizational structure and workforce planning
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and well-communicated
- Monitor and report on HR KPIs to the Board of Directors
- Lead or support change management initiatives across the group
- Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives at all times
Person Specification:Essential:
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally in a multi-site or group structure
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in managing employee relations and organisational change
- Strong leadership and people management skills
Desirable:
- Experience in a fast-paced, busy multi-site role previously
- Coaching or mediation qualification
- Familiarity with HR analytics and data-driven HR decisions
Working Conditions:
- Travel between sites will be required
