We have branches in Armagh, Roosky Co. Roscommon, Cheshire & Hampshire.
To continue our expansion we are looking for a new Van Driver at our depot based in Armagh, you may also be required to cover holidays and unplanned absences and increase in demand within the warehouse.
What will you be doing?
To ensure the deliveries are made efficiently we expect you to be able to meet the following requirements:
- Greet all our customers with exceptional service.
- Ensure all deliveries arrive in perfect condition and on time.
- Have a flexible approach to unexpected situations, i.e. late deliveries, being proactive in advising of any circumstances beyond your control.
- Part of the duties will include working in the warehouse covering picking, loading and unloading of vehicles and receiving and putting away stock. You will also be required to cover holidays and unplanned absences.
What skills do I need to be considered for this position?
· A Class 2 Driving Licence
· A general education with Math's and English, will be required.
· Ability to read delivery notes and understand planned routes.
· Physically fit, ability to handle boxes – Manual Handling Training will be provided.
· A right first-time attitude
· Adaptable and flexible
· Reliable, Honest & Motivated
· Ability to work on own
· Awareness of Health & Safety
· Reach truck licence will be advantageous.
· someone who is used to working in a fast-paced environment.
