Internal Sales Executive
Due to continued growth, my client are currently seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join their team in Armagh.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position.
Working hours: Monday – Thursday: 8.30am – 5pm and Friday: 8.30am – 4.30pm.
Offers one day a week WFH after a successful probation period.
Job Role:
You will be responsible for growing and developing sales for customers inside the business by capturing outbound calls.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, telesales and/or account management.
- Proven record of success in direct outbound sales, including a demonstrated ability to generate and qualify leads (Account based sales is a benefit).
- IT proficient with the use and demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office, online marketing, and social media (CRM proficiency experience is an advantage).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Capture the outbound calls of regional customers for the business.
- Grow and develop business relationships and in turn increasing profits and sales.
- Supply product knowledge to customers.
- Process Sales orders and deal with customer queries.
- Identify opportunities to grow business with designated existing customers.
- On-boarding of customers to online ordering option.
- Operate as the main point of contact for assigned customers, develop, and maintain long term relationships.
- Win new business by generating new leads and business relationships, this involves cold calls and calls to existing customers daily.
- Target marketing campaigns, prospecting, and proactive enquiry generation.
- Meet and/or exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Deal with customers and potential customers via telephone, email or in person if required.
- Receive customer complaints and investigate nature of complaint.
- Solve customer queries relating to orders pending and dispatched.
- Deal with all customer issues/queries/requests for product and service information promptly, efficiently, and courteously, ensuring appropriate follow-up is completed where required.
- Maintain effective communication and good working relationships with all internal and external teams, particularly operations, sales, stock control and credit control to ensure maximum customer service levels are achieved.
