Grafton Banks Finance are delighted to be supporting a client with offices in the Arundel area who are looking for recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant or Finance/Accounts Assistant to support the finance department with the following duties:
- Processing credit card payments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly posting of journals
- Supplier account reconciliations
- Processing sales invoices on a daily basis
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Purchase ledger invoicing and management of any related queries
- Accrual and prepayment schedules
- Ad hoc and month end duties
For this role, you will need:
- Experience within a varied finance role, ideally with involvement with the month-end related duties highlighted above.
- AAT qualifications (or finance related degree)
- Strong communication skills
- Strong Excel and accounting systems skills (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or SAP)
