Scope of the Role:

As a Laboratory Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate registration, administrative processing, and timely reporting of results to customers for all internal and external samples submitted to the laboratory. This role is key to maintaining data integrity, supporting operational efficiency, and upholding high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately register and label all incoming customer samples.
  • Generate appropriate worksheets for laboratory processing.
  • Enter analytical results into internal systems promptly and correctly.
  • Raise purchase orders for third-party laboratory analyses.
  • Match supplier invoices against corresponding purchase orders.
  • Handle customer enquiries professionally, mainly via telephone.
  • Regularly review quality order sheets to identify and chase missing results.
  • Maintain and update Total Volume tables as required.
