Personal Care Assistant

I am looking for a Personal Assistant to join my support team, to support me within my family home. Ideally you will have experience of supporting someone with a spinal cord injury and promoting independence.
My injury has had a big impact on my physical health and I need support with managing my personal care and healthcare needs each day.
When I am well, I enjoy spending time with my family and pet dog, socialising with friends and exploring accessible ventures out.
You will receive:
- Day rate: £13.37 per hour
- Night rate (sleeping night): £12.21 per hour
- A pensionif eligible
- 5.6 weeks per year annual leave pro rata
- Full certificated training on all aspects of the role
Hours available:
- A minimum of 12 hours per week on a 4 week rota day and night shifts available.
- There is the opportunity to work additional hours on occasions in relation to holidays and sickness.
Whats Required:
- Provide assistance with all aspects of personal care and clinical requirements to a female with a high-level spinal cord injury.
- A full driving licence preferred, but within commutable distance essential.
- Flexibility in working hours essential, night shifts are also available.
- Weekend work essential on a rota basis.
- An enhanced DBS check, the cost will be met by the Employer
