Do you come from a labouring background?
We are currently looking to recruit Mill Operatives to work with our Manufacturing client who is based on the outskirts of Ashford, on a full-time temporary to permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business that is one of the leaders within their market and offers an excellent package for their staff.
You will be working Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5.45pm & Friday, 8am - 4.15pm (This may be flexible)for an hourly rate of 11.26.
Due to the remote location, own transport will be required.
Duties and responsibilities for the role of Assembly Operative
- Work with Chop saws, Pull saws and push saws
- Reading measurements
- Use different hand tools including tape measures, drills, nail guns and screwdrivers
- Operating various machinery
- You will be able to follow directions well and demonstrate a good eye to detail
Skills required for the role ofAssembly Operative
- Must be able to work in a continuous environment
- Must be able to lift heavy items including bending
- Must have used power tools previously
- Must be comfortable wearing PPE including dusk masks
- Must be able to work in a physical role
