Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for Payroll Administration? Our client, a well-established Food company based in Ashford, Kent, is seeking a talented Payroll Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis (3-4 days/week). As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring timely salary payments in compliance with employee contracts and local regulations. Job Title: Part time Payroll Administrator

Location: Ashford, free parking

Salary: £32,760 FTE - approximately £19,000 for 20-22 hours a week

Hours: 20-22 hours a week. Our client is completely flexible how and when these are worked.

Main responsibilities and day-to-day operations on site:

- Record Keeping: You will enter payroll information into information systems and assist in preparing payroll checks.

- Reporting: With guidance, you will gather payroll data for inclusion in financial statements and prepare reports for management.

- HR Management: As a Payroll Administrator, you will support the HR team in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, employee contracts, and government legislation. Your understanding of relevant laws and regulations will be vital in maintaining a compliant and employee-friendly work environment.

To thrive in this role, our client is looking for candidates with the following professional profile:

  • Experience in Payroll and/or HR Administration
  • Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel skills will assist you in handling large amounts of data effectively. Knowledge of SAP HR would be an advantage.
