Junior Recruitment Consultant

Salary £30,000 OTE

KEY PURPOSE

The Junior Consultant is an important role within the team, reporting directly to the Senior Consultant They will be responsible for creating and maintaining positive client relationships and providing them with the best quality candidate within the horticultural industry. The Junior Consultant role is developmental and will ultimately be expected to manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing candidates through to offer stage and beyond.

Skills and Experience Required

• Good written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
• A desire to develop, progress and build a successful career.
• Sound personal organisation and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise, stay focused during busy times and meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to build strong colleague, candidate and client relationships at all levels.
• Professional and confident in approach and telephone manner.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel and Word, and an ability to and interest in learning and using internal IT systems.
• Ambitious and motivated, maintaining a consistently high level of enthusiasm and a desire and ability to fulfill briefs and meet targets.
• An understanding of and ability to deliver good customer service.
• A willingness to assist the wider team when required.
• Positive and creative approach to problem-solving.
• An ability to successfully deal with confidential and sensitive matters.
