Cover Supervisor

Axcis Education are seeking Cover Supervisors for secondary schools on Tameside. We are seeking qualified candidates with experience working with children to work with students in KS3 and KS4.

Role: Cover Supervisor
Availability: Full time
Location: Tameside, Manchester

Requirements:
-Holds a Degree in Childcare, Psychology or Health and Social Care etc.
-Enhanced DBS on the update service
-Experience working with children (Classroom based experience preferred)
-Strong behaviour management skills

Duties:
-Cover lessons in the absence of the timetabled teacher.
-Supervise the delivery of the established cover work by effectively communicating the work
set to the students
-Oversee the collection of resources needed in order to effectively deliver the
covered lessons
-Ensure students complete the planned work from the timetabled teacher
