What will the role involve?
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
- Plan and optimize international shipments to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth customs clearance and compliance with international regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse and logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead and manage a small warehouse team
What will you ideally bring to the role?
- Experience using SAP ERP system in a similar role.
- Previous experience in warehouse management and international logistics.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures.
- Understanding of Incoterms & import/export
- Good attention to detail and strong administration / organisational skills
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
