Position 1 Recruitment are looking for Junior New Product Developer to join our client manufacturing business to shape the future of their product portfolio and making a meaningful impact on the business and customers. Due to the ongoing growth, they are looking for an experienced New Product Developer to join their friendly team.
Junior New Product Development will work closely with the senior product developers on site in their development kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior product developers in the creation and development of new product ideas.
Contribute creative and innovative ideas for new flavours and products.
Work collaboratively with team members and follow instructions effectively.
Demonstrate initiative, proactivity, and a willingness to learn.
Participate in all stages of product development, from concept to production.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the new product development process.
Maintain good communication and writing skills.
The Ideal candidate as a Junior New Product Developer will have a genuine passion for food, a creative mindset, and a keen interest in developing new flavours, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the teams. Previous hands-on experience in a kitchen environment, such as a chef or chef's assistant, or in an NPD role, is desirable.
This is a permanent, full-time role Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and early finish on Fridays 4:00 PM. Benefits include state pension, 21 days holiday per year (excluding bank holidays), and onsite parking.
