My client, who are based in Aston Clinton, work within the waste industry and are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their successful Sales department.

They have a relaxed and fun, collaborative team working environment. The Sales team is a high-performing team who work hybrid remote from the office.

Description

The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Selling pump servicing / STP servicing / grease management products both B2C and B2B.
  • Driving revenue by successfully processing orders with our clients, positively contributing towards the continuing growth of the business.
  • Building relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their requirements to successfully process orders and to confidently welcome customers (both private and professional) for consultation.
  • Managing the full Sales cycle.
  • Sourcing leads.
  • Identifying and targeting new business.
  • Business development calls.
  • Building a network of clients.
  • Sales telephone enquiries.
  • Achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

Profile

The successful Business Development Manager will have:

  • Strong sales skills with ability to win new business
  • The ability to sell complex solutions
  • Proficient in the following competencies: developing trusting relationships, business and financial acumen, excellent communication, ability to engage at executive level, expanding and advancing opportunities, devising appropriate sales strategies and solutions, driving the sales cycle, accurately forecast sales pipeline, ensuring and sustaining customer satisfaction, sales opportunity analysis, gain the purchasing commitment and manage the ongoing business relationship with the customer
  • Pro-active and confident candidates with strong problem-solving skills
