GSL Education is currently seeking a number of passionate and dedicated Media Studies Teacher to join our client school in Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity to empower students in the world of media and creativity.
As a Media Studies Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and media literacy.
- Delivering lessons that align with the national curriculum and cater to the diverse needs and interests of students.
- Inspiring students to explore various aspects of media, including film, television, journalism, and digital media.
- Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their development in media studies.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the media curriculum and extracurricular activities.
- Preparing students for media-related projects, presentations, and creative endeavors.
Candidate Qualifications and Attributes:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Media Studies.
- Strong subject knowledge and expertise in media studies and related topics.
- Passion for education and the ability to inspire and engage students in the world of media.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Effective classroom management skills, creating an environment conducive to creative exploration and critical analysis.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to enhancing students' media education.
You must be in possession of an enhanced child only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
