Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a privately owned Developer in their search to recruit a talented and ambitious Town Planner to their team in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
The team work predominantly on residential developments across the western home counties and London area, and work on varying scales of development, from small scale sites of five homes to developments of up to 100 units including the promotion of much larger sites to add to their strategic land pipeline.
The successful candidate will work with the existing team in all areas of the planning process. The team have considerable experience in identifying and resolving complex planning issues, on both urban brownfield redevelopment opportunities to end of settlement greenfield land.
You will comprehensively managing every stage of the development process, with involvement from initial site evaluation and acquisition through to design and master planning stages before submission of a robust planning application.
Candidate Requirements
- RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or related field of study.
- MRTPI Chartered, or working towards the APC.
- Previous experience in a Planning role, ideally with public sector experience.
- An interest in residential planning and strategic land promotion.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Full clean driving licence preferred.
