Responsibilities:

• Support the Transport & Compliance Manager in adhering to all compliance and legal obligations during your shift, with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Assist in executing the daily plan for all deliveries and collections, ensuring resource availability at the site and keeping the Transport Manager updated.
• Ensure all processes and procedures are followed, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
• Report to customers and provide updates and solutions to issues that arise throughout your shift.
• Manage the dispatch and arrival of drivers during your 12-hour shift.
• Oversee an SMB FMGCS haulage operation, supplying logistics solutions to blue-chip companies.

Person specification:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
