An exciting opportunity has arisen for a career-driven Hospitality Manager to join a boutique hotel in Ayr. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality manager with a strong background in Food & Beverage, looking to advance to a General Manager position. The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing the hotel's operations and will be provided with a clear promotion pathway and salary increments.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the daily operations of a 15-bedroom hotel, ensuring all services meet the highest standards.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of events and weddings, accommodating up to 100 guests.
  • Supervise the restaurant and bar operations, maintaining exceptional quality and service.
  • Lead and manage the hotel team, including rota management and basic Profit & Loss responsibilities.
  • Ensure outstanding customer experience and compliance with licensing, health & safety, and fire regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven senior-level management experience in a hotel or F&B, preferably within an independent property.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to directly engage with daily operations.
  • Solid experience in managing events, banqueting, and bar operations.
  • Strong financial awareness with skills in cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
