Brook Street has an exciting opportunity for a new full time permanent Management Accountant

This role involves analysing financial data, preparing reports, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing detailed weekly & monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Analyse financial performance, providing and challenging against budgets and forecasts.
  • Aid in creating financial models for reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the monthly Group reporting pack.
  • Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with department heads to review financial performance and provide insights for improvement.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of financial processes & controls.

Essential Criteria:
To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate:

  • CIMA, ACA, ACCA Qualification or part qualified with experience.
  • 2+ years of practical accounting/industry experience.
  • Strong interpersonal & time management skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly Excel and financial software e.g. Business Central/SAP.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Business Central.
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft PowerBI or similar.

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and is negotiable.
