Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of our client based in Ballyclare who are recruiting an HGV Dismantling Team Leader to join ther mechanics team.
Duties
- Oversee all daily operations within the used parts business related to heavy goods vehicle dismantling
- Ensure accurate pricing of goods and timely invoicing upon departure
- Oversee the quality checking and washing of goods before departure to maintain high standards
- Ensure prompt removal of waste from the site and proper invoicing for waste disposal services
- Ensure completion of depollution records for each vehicle
- Completing the site diary checklist daily
- Supervising the completion of Internal Branch Transfers (IBTs) for goods and their distribution to other depots
- Updating delivery driver sheets with accurate information
- Ensure all outbound orders are processed and completed on time
- Ensure that all workshop sales are properly invoiced through the MAM system
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-organized site
Essential
- Mechanical knowledge of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV's) is essential
- Previous experience of HGV dismantling or working within this environment is highly desirable
- Previous experience of supervising/leading a team would be advantageous
- Knowledge of depollution processes and health and safety regulations would be desirable o Familiarity with inventory management and invoicing systems
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in pricing and documentation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Possess a full, valid driving licence
