GROUP REPORTING MANAGER | £55,000 - £60,000 | HYBRID

REED is delighted to be further assisting an expanding, innovative technology business in the Antrim area, in the appointment of a full-time GROUP REPORTING MANAGER on a permanent, hybrid basis.

The role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Reporting Manager will lead the evolution

and the continuous enhancement of the business’s internal financial reporting, and the processes and controls, to deliver high quality, accurate information. This role will also be the primary point of contact for the audit.  Main Responsibilities include;

  • Coordination of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
  • Responsible for the monthly consolidation of the global reporting entities and group financial
  • reporting (checks/validations/review).
  • Responsible for the preparation and consolidation of the Group's monthly management
  • reporting pack
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including commentary
  • Identify and embed process and controls improvements across the group
  • Works closely with the financial controller to ensure continuous improvement of the financial
  • control environment
  • Provide technical accounting leadership and ownership of the financial accounting reporting
  • system
  • Coordinates the annual external audit process for the international business
  • Coordinates the preparation of the annual UK GAAP financial statements for the group’s UK
  • entities
  • Acts as a point of contact for technical accounting matters
  • Responsible for the UK corporation tax filing obligations and preparation and submission of
  • R&D tax credit calculations along with coordination with the Group tax advisors.
  • Build strong relationships with operational/functional teams, to drive financial accuracy and
  • completeness across the Group
  • Takes a leading role in the development of team members across the finance function
  • Maintains accounting policy documentation and ensures that new and emerging accounting
  • and disclosure requirements are appropriately applied
  • Oversight of cash flow reporting including the preparation of suitable forecasts and other
  • analysis

Essential Criteria

  • Qualified accountant (ideally Top 10 practice-trained) with 2+ years post-qualified experience
  • Experience of reporting across multiple jurisdictions
  • A strong technical accountant with good knowledge of statutory accounting, processes
  • and controls
  • A strong communicator with the ability to work with senior stakeholders, providing robust and constructive challenge
  • A very high level of personal drive and motivation and the ability to progress matters with a significant degree of independence
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional planning, organisation, and communication skills with the ability to advise and

influence multiple stakeholders at various levels

  • Strong cultural awareness, adaptability, and confidence to operate across geographic regions
  • Ad hoc financial data requests and project work – including co-ordinating
