A great Financial Services Company is to recruit a Paraplanner/Analyst with skills within Financial services on report writing & analyst side.   They request Ideally Level Four Diploma Qualified on your Paraplanning skills but will consider a skilled Paraplanner near to having Diploma in paraplanning.  At some stage when joined & local to the Oxford Role, a possibility of 3 remote days. The Role is to provide full Paraplanning Analyst support to the IFAs, taking responsibility & ownership of all they require your support with.   

This role requires a Paraplanner to do occasional client visits with the IFA's

In addition - Each Team Member has ownership of a variety of tasks which they assume day to day responsibility for. It is vital for the skilled Paraplanner/Analyst  to maintain a working knowledge of the tasks outside of their own workload; this ensures service delivery levels are maintained in the event of absence or general unavailability.

You will be responsible for the training & development of the Financial Services Administrator assigned to you also, ensuring that all areas of the role are trained to a high level.  In addition to this, you may be required to provide training to other administrators as part of this role.

The business environment & varying needs of their company clients requires the ability to deliver in short timescales & respond positively to changes in work priorities, methods & demands.

Within the role you must ensure you are working efficiently and effectively whilst utilising all resources available to you within your role.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:-

  • Attend client meetings as required with the Advisor  taking away all post meeting tasks such as suitability reports; post review reports & new business reporting
  • Gather accurate information about client policies to prepare & review documents for Pension and Investment Clients.
  • Data capture and analysis to ensure IFAs have relevant information to meet their clients varying needs.
  • Dealing with general queries from clients, by telephone and email.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of processes and process amendments.
  • Have the ability to undertake all tasks and responsibilities requested.
  • Ensure a consistent level of standard is maintained to ensure the company reputation within the industry is second to none.
  • Be responsible for your involvement in company projects.
  • Prioritise and organise your own workload, raising any concerns or issues with your Team Head or the Office Manager.
  • Work as a key user in company changes, providing valued input to ensure the projects are successful and all client/departmental requirements are met.
  • Work to tight deadlines.
  • Build and maintain a good working knowledge of client requirements & legislative requirements.

Essential Knowledge and Experience :-

  • Previous office experience, in the Financial Services sector paraplanning
  • Working knowledge of the companies internal systems 
  • Experience working as a skilled paraplanner/analyst
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Professional, accurate written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritise to ensure timing deadlines
  • Client Focussed
