We at Twenty4Seven Education are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join one of our esteemed secondary schools in Coventry.

As a Psychology Teacher, you will have the chance to ignite students' curiosity and deepen their understanding of psychological theories, research, and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking Psychology lessons that cover a range of topics including cognitive processes, social behavior, developmental psychology, and mental health.

  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore, question, and critically evaluate psychological concepts and theories.

  • Integrate a variety of teaching methods, resources, and case studies to enhance students' understanding and engagement with psychological principles and research methods.

  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate students with diverse learning needs and abilities, providing personalized support and challenge as needed.

  • Assess student progress through a range of formative and summative assessments, including essays, presentations, and research projects, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular connections, organize guest lectures, and facilitate opportunities for students to engage with professionals in the field of psychology.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in psychology or a related field.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for psychology education.

  • Experience teaching psychology to students of varying ages and abilities (preferred but not required).

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting critical thinking skills among students.
