  • Lead the packaging design process from concept to completion, ensuring consistent brand imagery.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Lead Designers to introduce new products timely and within budget
  • Oversee the product personalisation process and manage projects from inception to delivery
  • Effectively communicate with suppliers on packaging development and brand styling
  • Monitor design and production stages, ensuring adherence to quality, quantities, and budget
  • Offer insights into brand trends and heritage, ensuring designs cater to customer lifestyles and needs
  • Mentor junior designers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of specification sheets and samples
  • Liaise with suppliers and factories, providing technical specifications and reviewing samples for modifications
  • Manage critical paths and handle additional responsibilities to meet pressing deadlines
  • Collaborate on group projects for the Joma Jewellery brand to meet tight schedules.
Key Skills & Experience:  
  • Strong portfolio, demonstrating the ability to execute designs from concept to finished sample in a relevant industry.
  • Previous experience in Packaging Design & POS Design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, AI, and ID.
  • Exceptional visual communication skills, with proficiency in AI, Photoshop, and freehand drawing.
  • Ability to provide precise written communication and exhibit exceptional numeracy skills.
  • Demonstrable organisational skills, ensuring timely design deliveries.
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail setting with a proactive, collaborative attitude.
  • Comprehensive understanding of brand packaging development strategy.
  • Ability to mentor, with an inclination towards fostering team growth.
  • Design qualification and/or experience in fashion, jewellery, or lifestyle industries.
Additional Information:
  • Hybrid Working, with flexibility based on business needs. Typically 3 days a week at the Head Office in Banbury.
  • 25 days holidays, rising with service duration.
