In the heart of Banbury, Oxfordshire, a 11-18 Secondary School is looking for a Science Teacher to join them ASAP on a part time basis, 3 days a week(Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) and teach general Science to GCSE. This is a long-term supply contract through to July 2024.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Science Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding Science Department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects. The school are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the school!

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Science Teacher - KS3/KS4
  • Inspiring and motivating the younger generation.
  • Working alongside a team of fantastic Science Teachers
  • ASAP Start - Long Term Supply contract to July 2024
  • MPS1-UPS3 - £153-£238 per day.
  • Located in Banbury, Oxfordshire

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • QTS/QTLS or experienced Unqualified Teacher with at least 6 months teaching experience.
  • Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
  • Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level.
  • You must be able to work as part of a large team of Science Teachers
  • Must be willing to listen to feedback.
