MEM Recruitment is recruiting a Vehicle Technician Level 3 to join our team(s) based in Chipping Warden , Banbury
We are looking for a Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join a mechanical department based at Chipping Warden site.
This role is ideal for level 2 or 3 qualified technicians, but we will also take into consideration students currently completing automotive qualifications.

Duties Include
- Carry out general servicing of vehicles, repairs and MOT checks (if qualified)
- Complete air conditioning services as and when required
- Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles
- Undertake road and ramp testing
- Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to its original condition
- Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
- Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed
Other Information
Vehicle Technicians will be interviewed by the hiring managers, The interview normally lasts around 1 hour and will include a site tour. Technicians are required to own a toolbox. Tools can be stored on-site locked.
Personal Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Mechanical Inspector
- Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2,3 in Mechanics (required)
- Full valid UK driving licence with the abiliy to drive automatic and manual cars for the insurance purpose you need to be over 21 years old and hold a driving licence for minimum 2 years (essential)
- You must own your own tools / basic kit
Shift Pattern
- 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off
- 07:00 am to 7:00 pm
Salary
- £20.14 Per Hour
