We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join one of our partner schools, a thriving educational institution committed to providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the facilities team, ensuring effective performance and development.
- Oversee health and safety compliance, ensuring all statutory requirements are met.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Coordinate and supervise work carried out by contractors and external service providers.
- Ensure all safeguarding policies are strictly followed, with a strong understanding or willingness to undertake safeguarding training.
- Maintain and improve the school’s physical environment, ensuring it is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding principles or a willingness to undergo required training.
- Enhanced DBS check and professional references are mandatory.
