Class 2 Driver

CLASS 2 DRIVER - PART-TIME

MONDAY & SATURDAY: 06.00 STARTS

£12.82 PER HOUR

People Solutions are recruiting a HGV Class 2 multi drop delivery driver to work for a Client based in Tankersley, Barnsley to make deliveries of white goods.

You must be aged 21 or over for this role for insurance purposes.

The role will be to cover only Mondays & Saturdays initially, but may become permanent for the right candidate, working either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.

Day to Day Duties

• Drive/operate Class 2 Vehicles safely and efficiently
• Multi Drop (6 - 9 drops)
• Ensure vehicle is well presented at all times
• Handball required
• Abide by driving rules & regulations
• Deliver to residential houses, stores and other depots
• Use a tail lift
• Use a sack barrow
• Happy to work as part of a 2 person team where required

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category C licence for 2 years
• Hold a UK DIGI Card
• Hold a UK CPC Card
• No more than six penalty points
• No major endorsement codes
• Must be aged 21 or over due to insurance purposes
• Excellent timekeeping
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills

Desirable Experience

Experience working for a white goods provider is desirable but not essential.

Training

On site assessment prior to first shift.
