Joiner

IMH Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Joiner to work for our client based in Barnsley, this will be working alongside the council.

You would be working as part of a team delivering essential repairs to social housing properties or preparing empty properties to be advertised for new tenants.

Responsibilities:

• Removal & Renewal of Kitchens
• Removal & Renewal of Bathrooms, Shower Rooms & Wet Rooms as part of a 2 man team with a plumber
• Internal Second fix joinery
• Internal first fix joinery
• Fencing Work - Timber or concrete,
• Fascia, Soffits and gutter work,
• Joinery repairs - including but not limited to floor boarding, door ease/renew, PVC repairs to windows and doors, kitchen unit repairs.

Previous experience:

• Confident in basic plumbing or have some experience in plumbing.
• Be willing to assist with helping other trades as and when required.

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Joinery
• Blue CSCS Blue skilled worker card
• Must have a valid Full UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• A works vehicle will be provided for successful candidates, how ever you may be required to make your own way to the depot initially.
