About the Role
As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will support fee earners in managing residential and commercial property transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth processes for clients, handling legal documentation, and liaising with stakeholders throughout the conveyancing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing a caseload of conveyancing files, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities.
- Communicate with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders to facilitate transactions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
- Maintain accurate records and update case management systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in conveyancing or property law.
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial property transactions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- Relevant legal qualifications (eg, CILEX, LPC, or equivalent experience).
