Conveyancing Paralegal (AB426)

About the Role

As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will support fee earners in managing residential and commercial property transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth processes for clients, handling legal documentation, and liaising with stakeholders throughout the conveyancing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing a caseload of conveyancing files, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities.
  • Communicate with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders to facilitate transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and update case management systems.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in conveyancing or property law.
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial property transactions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.
  • Relevant legal qualifications (eg, CILEX, LPC, or equivalent experience).
