Job Title: Conveyancing Paralegal,Salary: £23,000 - £25,000,Location: Barnsley,Contract: Full Time, permanent Position OverviewJoin our Residential Property team as a vital administrative and legal support specialist. You'll play a key role in maintaining smooth operations while ensuring all procedures and compliance requirements are met. This role offers an excellent chance to grow your career within a collaborative and supportive workplace. Main Duties

  • Use Digital Dictation software (BigHand) to process tasks efficiently
  • Manage cases through our Case Management System
  • Coordinate property searches, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks, and final searches
  • Submit Land Registry applications and handle any follow-up requisitions
  • Prepare documentation for client meetings
  • Support file management including opening and closing files as needed
  • Handle incoming calls, client queries, and requests from third parties
  • Manage emails, postal mail, scanning, and correspondence responses
  • Provide cover support for Senior Fee Earners during their non-working days
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards
  • Deliver cost-effective assistance to Fee Earners within your team and across the department

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience in a similar administrative or legal support role is an advantage but not essential
  • Basic knowledge of legal correspondence
  • Strong IT and word processing skills are a must
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to our firm's values and goals
  • GCSE English at Grade C/4 or higher
  • Well-organised, self-driven, and a team player
