Ashley Kate are thrilled to be working with a fast-growing property company based in Barnsley to find an Accounts Assistant (Accounts Payable) on a temp to perm basis!

This Accounts Assistant role will require someone who is willing to get stuck in and will favour those who have a can-do attitude. Very easily accessible by public transport as well as having an on-site car park and on street parking available, now is the best time to get involved with this growing company!

Responsibilities:

• Bank statement reconciliation
• Utilities (final readings, suppliers etc.)
• Processing invoices
• Preparing payment runs
• Property management
• Chasing rent
• Answering phone calls
• Potential travel to different properties across the Barnsley area

About you:

• Accounts background (minimum 1 year)
• IT literate (working knowledge of MS Excel)
• XERO (desirable)
• Meticulous work approach
• Previous experience in property sector (desirable)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
