About the Role:
As an Art Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the artistic talents of students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging art lessons, encouraging creativity, and fostering a love for the arts. Your passion for art and education will help students develop their skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality art lessons to students across various age groups.
- Planning and preparing engaging and inspiring lesson plans.
- Encouraging students' creativity and self-expression through various artistic mediums.
- Assessing and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Organising and displaying students' artwork within the school and at exhibitions.
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching art at the secondary school level is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
