About the Role:

As an Art Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the artistic talents of students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging art lessons, encouraging creativity, and fostering a love for the arts. Your passion for art and education will help students develop their skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality art lessons to students across various age groups.
  • Planning and preparing engaging and inspiring lesson plans.
  • Encouraging students' creativity and self-expression through various artistic mediums.
  • Assessing and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Organising and displaying students' artwork within the school and at exhibitions.
  • Collaborating with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching art at the secondary school level is desirable.
