Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students with SEND needs, fostering their social skills, emotional regulation, and self-esteem.
  • Implement tailored interventions and behaviour management techniques to support positive outcomes and academic progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualised education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
  • Create and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' emotional well-being.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience working with students with SEND needs in an educational or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEND challenges and the ability to implement appropriate strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of students.
