Reed Marketing and Creative are working with a Devon based client who are currently looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to champion the success of independent businesses. You will be instrumental in driving brand awareness and perception, ensuring their mission and vision resonate through all communications. This role is perfect for a creative and strategic thinker who is passionate about brand messaging and advocacy.

Key responsibilites:
  • Analyse brand positioning and consumer insights to shape clear brand messaging.
  • Keep the Brand Book up to date, ensuring it’s at the core of all marketing activities.
  • Develop and implement a marketing plan/strategy to enhance the Troy Group’s brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to execute projects and campaigns that drive brand recognition.
  • Monitor campaign progress using various metrics, including campaign ROI, and provide actionable insights.
  • Manage PR risks by developing contingency plans and maintaining brand integrity.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies to keep our marketing efforts ahead of the curve.
  • Work closely with HR to ensure internal communications align with our brand values and proposition.
  • Liaise with external PR agencies and manage sponsorships, like that of the Exeter Chiefs, to maximise opportunities.
  • Ensure all public-facing channels, including our website and social media, reflect our brand accurately.
Person Specification:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent marketing experience
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies with strong campaign delivery and results.
  • Understanding of customer and market dynamics with the skill to build communication strategies around customer needs.
  • Data-driven thinking paired with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player with flexibility and the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with the wider team, external contacts, and key stakeholders.
  • Strong IT and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
