Acorn by Synergie is actively seeking a highly organised, detail orientated Assembler / Parts Controller in the Barnstaple area on behalf of their client. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is mechanically minded with strong attention to detail to join the team as they continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

- Pick and assemble products by hand with precision from technical drawings - Inspect assembled parts at every stage of the build to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and workmanship. - Complete final quality inspection of fully assembled products before shipping. - Take ownership of non-conformance reports and upholding the critical quality standards required. - Collaborate with other members of the team to enhance proficiency and streamline processes. - Supervise the receiving of incoming goods and verifying that all incoming goods meet the standards required. - Ensure the completion of all Goods inwards paperwork and appropriate storage off all goods received into the warehouse. - Using inventory management systems to enhance the stock control process. - Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the stock room for clarity and inventory management. - Conduct regular stock audits to minimise discrepancies and upkeep accurate standards of stock control. - Picking and packing of parts based on requirements. - AD hoc activities to benefit the needs of the business when required.

Key Skills & Experience- Experience with hands on assembly and quality control within a manufacturing environment - Experience with warehouse management and stock control - Highly organised individual with exceptional attention to detail - Ability to read and understand technical drawings and pick parts from a bill of materials - Computer literate with the ability to use basic stock management systems. - Excellent manual dexterity. - Ability to prioritise and spot opportunities to enhance proficiency within the processes. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Ability to be flexible when needed If you are interested, please apply below or for more information please contact the Barnstaple office on or email .
