We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Operations Manager who can lead change to ensure that SEAs production processes are effective, predictable, and capable of delivering products and support deliverables OTOCOQ in line with SEAs growth.

What youll be doing
A highly organised and methodical individual who has excellent interpersonal skills. Able to plan and manage their own workload, as well as those of the team, in line with business priorities. An excellent problem solver with an eye for detail who can also think outside of the box and develop a high performing team of skilled production technicians .
  • Delivery of product and service support deliverables OTOCOQ
  • Liaise with Planning to create and then own the execution of daily, weekly, monthly and annual production schedules
  • Establish and maintain a KPI Dashboard to drive performance across delivery, efficiency and quality
  • Generate and maintain appropriate operating policies and procedures for production
  • Maintain strong 6S disciplines across all production cells
  • Manage and develop a first line of Cell Leads
  • Developing and supporting visual controls on the shop floor
  • Drive shop floor continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure accurate as built records and supporting compliance documentation are captured through the build process
  • Effective management of the daily GEMBA meetings
  • Liaise with Production Engineering to identify, prioritise, and implement process improvements to reduce production costs
  • Maximise direct labour utilisation and efficiency
  • Contribute to the monthly SEA Integrated Business Planning process and ensure production capacity is in place to meet future demand at least 18 months out
  • Set annual cost centre budgets and manage expenditure within those budgets
  • Support time studies in manufacturing and the development of standard work
  • Provide mentoring and identify training for all staff to develop an agile Production function capable of supporting a wide portfolio of products and services

The skills you need
  • Relevant degree level qualification
  • Relevant professional qualifications desirable (LEAN, Six Sigma etc)
  • Proven production experience at senior line manager level in a low volume / high variety manufacturing environment.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and clear/critical thinking skills
  • Good listener with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong passion for production excellence to deliver customer satisfaction
  • Resilient and calm under pressure with the ability to work to tight deadlines and communicate at all levels
  • Good analytical and organisational skills
  • As a strong completer/finisher, the ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as appropriate
  • Experience with ISO9001 required. ISO14001, ISO45001 and AS9100 experience desirable
